Just perfect! Good value for money, arrived exactly when expected, an efficient and careful collection of flat contents and drop off in a new flat in a different location. The gentlemen doing the removal were polite, friendly and very helpful. I would definitely use them again and recommend to others.

Ali, Omar and the team did a fantastic job moving the contents of our 4-bedroom house in Edinburgh to our new place in Currie. From arriving on time, wrapping everything securely and taking extra precautions with our bikes and wooden furniture and finally delivering all items without any scratches to our new place we were very satisfied with the great service!! Ali was really responsive and helpful organising the move. He was flexible and accommodating, allowing us to follow up on our initial estimate with more details, videos, and emails. The removals guys arrived when they said they would (calling beforehand) and were professional and courteous. They took everything in their stride and we were very happy with the service.

The guys showed up on time and moved the items from our first floor flat to the vans extremely quickly. Despite there being lots of large and heavy items they worked efficiently to remove everything. They were flexible around the time to arrive at our new property because of delays receiving our keys, and then the guys put in a huge shift to move all of our items into our second floor flat. Incredible effort from all of them, and I’d massively recommend.

Omar’s service is excellent and I highly recommend working with him. We just moved from overseas and have had to pick up various furniture pieces all around the city — the van has plenty of room for everything and Omar is easy to coordinate with, accommodating, and prompt and helpful with communication. He quickly and adeptly helped us move several cumbersome pieces into our tiny mews home. We will without a doubt hire him again for any future moving!

Our easiest removal ever! The 3 guys arrived on time and were friendly and efficient. They were amazing at getting furniture up a very narrow staircase. We were worried about our dismantled glass greenhouse surviving the journey but they took good care of it and it arrived safe and sound. Highly recommend this company.

We moved a couple of weeks ago. Some friends recommended Edinburgh City Removals and we are very happy that we hired their services. Ali was very accommodating, came home to see all that needed to be done and then sent a quote so there would be no surprises. On the day of the move Omar and his team were efficient and careful with our belongings and the properties. They could also dismantle and reassemble a complicated ottoman bed for us with no problem at all. Would definitely recommend!

My daughter and husband met the team at their flat on Boxing Day. They moved all her furniture down 3 flights of stairs in a very professional manner. Lisa told me they were very friendly and courteous. My wife and I met them on the following morning at 9am bang on time in Bolton having left Edinburgh at 5.30am. Omar and his colleague sorry I didn’t get his name were awesome. In just over 2hours they had emptied the van and transported everything to our storage facility. All this was completed in a friendly and professional matter with a smile on there faces. It was a real pleasure meeting them and watching them work. Edinburgh City Removals have wonderful staff work to a very high level of professionalism and deliver exactly what is required. We would absolutely have no hesitation in recommending them to others. Well done guys you were brilliant.

When looking for removal service we got several quotes from different companies and found ECR to be the most competitive and reasonably priced! Communication ahead of the move was great, with several conversations discussing exact items to be moved and an in person visit to give us peace of mind.On moving day ECR arrived promptly (actually a little early, which was fantastic) on Boxing Day with four staff to help move all of our items down three flights of stairs. The staff were fantastic. All 4 movers were courteous and helpful, as well as extremely careful with our furniture. The next day we met them at the storage facility. ECR arrived promptly at the time stated and again carefully unloaded the truck and organized our storage container.We received excellent service throughout our movie with Edinburgh City Removals. ECR are excellent value for money - they provide a thorough, efficient and careful service, without the large price tag the bigger companies request.

Omar and Malik were grand on the day. Even though we ended up having way more stuff than I'd been quoted for, they gladly loaded it all up for us. Ali requoted us after the fact and didn't charge the earth even though he had me by the balls. Great service and communication.

Clear, prompt communication in advance and very efficient and careful service on the day of the move. All at a brilliant price - much cheaper than any of the other quotes we received. As the price was so much lower we were a little apprehensive about the level of service we would receive but we needn't have been. Excellent value for money.

ECR helped us with an office removal when we were left in a bind. The removal team that we originally booked simply did not show up and then asked if we could re-schedule our move for another day the following week! I called ECR and Ali, the Operations Manager, arranged for two of his guys to arrive at our office within 45 minutes (at 17:30, so the end of a normal working day!) They did a stellar job and were very personable. Couldn't recommend these guys enough.
